Dayne - no problem, you are right. Steve totally gets it and is very proactive in making sure he does right by his customers and supporters. Also just seems like a nice guy from the email back and forth I had with him.

@OSG - Thanks for stopping by! It's great that Steve included you in his email. I never even covered the fact that Steve linked out to other bloggers. He's a great CEO who truly gets that the Web is about making connections.

I'm glad you stopped by for a comment and thanks for sharing the link.

Thanks for sharing that the email created traffic for you. Another great example of how empowering others helps everyone.

I can speak from experience with the "Steve's Pick" emails since he featured a link to my blog in his email 2 weeks ago.

Although the link to my blog was pretty far down and after a lot of text and content, when I looked at my sites stats, there were a large number of visitors that came as a result of his email.

This proves that well written content that captures the user's interest will keep them reading and engaged.

Writing was fast becoming a forgotten skill. I think blogging has had a lot to do with bringing the skills back to the forefront. Now, perhaps e-mails will come along too.

Albert
